FutureThink Goes Global with Accessible, Multilingual Training

Trusted by Innovative Thinkers
FutureThink, a leading provider of innovation training, partnered with Kyteway to expand the reach of their eLearning courses to a global audience. Critically, they prioritized accessibility from the outset, ensuring the original English versions were designed to be inclusive before embarking on translation and localization. The project involved adapting 21 courses into six languages: French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Arabic, and Chinese.
The Challenge : Breaking Language and Accessibility Barriers
FutureThink's goal was twofold: to provide a comprehensive and accessible learning experience for learners worldwide and to ensure the original English courses were designed with accessibility in mind. This required addressing both language and accessibility barriers, while maintaining the quality and impact of their training across all versions.
Accessibility-First Design
Creating inclusive English courses as a foundation for effective translation.
Multilingual Conversion
Translating and adapting course content, including slides, PDFs, quizzes, and resources, for six different languages.
Video Accessibility
Making 462 videos accessible and understandable to learners in all target languages, including those with hearing impairments.
Maintaining Quality
Ensuring the translated content maintained the same level of engagement and effectiveness as the accessible English courses.
Why FutureThink Chose Kyteway?

Kyteway's Solution: Bridging the Gap
Kyteway provided a comprehensive solution, starting with an accessibility-focused approach to the English courses:
Accessible English Course Development
We ensured the original English courses were designed with accessibility in mind, incorporating features like closed captions, alt text for images, and keyboard navigation. This provided a strong, inclusive foundation for translation.
Course Content Conversion
We translated and adapted all course materials, including slides, PDF documents (270), quizzes, and resources, ensuring cultural sensitivity and linguistic accuracy.
Video Subtitling
We added subtitles for 462 videos in all six target languages, making them accessible and understandable to a wider audience.
Quality Assurance
We implemented a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure the translated content was accurate, consistent, culturally appropriate, and maintained accessibility standards.
